Here are some frequently asked questions.

1. Do I Need To Insure My Wines, Beers and Spirits?

GDG and its logistic partner will not take responsibility for spirits damaged or lost whilst in transit. In the event that for reasons beyond the reasonable control of GDG, it is necessary or advisable for the judging to be cancelled, GDG cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss of profit, damage, or expense of any kind incurred as the result of such cancellation.

2. What if I miss the Shipping Deadlines?

Your registration will not be considered for judging and no scores will reflect in your account. No Refund will be initiated in any circumstance of missing the shipping deadline. Delays caused by couriers and customs will not be accounted for, so please ship in advance.

- Make sure to let us know (Stuti Khetan at stuti@beveragetradenetwork.com the tracking number & courier company name once you ship your samples to the warehouse address to ensure the shipment delivery.

3. Import license, declaration & duty. 

All duty, shipping costs, and taxes must be prepaid by the submitter of the samples. Spirits must be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), therefore instruction to complete the import declaration should be given to your forwarder/courier company, please choose ‘shipper accept all charges’ on the documentation provided by your courier company. Submitters should also be responsible for any fees related to the import declaration. brands cannot be accepted by our logistic partner if the charges associated with shipping have not been paid.

8. Can I pay entry fees using my own currency? 

All  Invoices are issued in USD, however, you are welcome to pay the equivalent amount in your local currency for your convenience. We recommend you refer to a currency conversion website like https://www.xe.com/ for today's rates.

9.When do I need to ship samples and what are the deadlines?

10.Where do we send my samples? 

Please see the shipping instructions. The Submission Label after you log in.

11.Our samples did not arrive in time/were late for the GDG Judging.They are on hold by customs/damaged by courier//late to arrive. Can we still send our samples? 

For the Judges to taste your products it is essential they arrive on time. If your samples do not arrive in time for the GDG, they will not be able to be blind-tasted or placed by the Judges.

Invoice and billing questions 

How will my invoice be sent to me?

Kindly login to the website and check under Billing. 

Do we need to pay taxes and duties?

Yes, you need to raise the documents to ship with all charges being billed back to you. Kindly confirm with your shipping carrier about VAT, DDP or any before shipping. If GDG is asked to pay, we have to be contacted and the same price has to be bared by the shipper.
